Hip roof are more stable that the pitched one. This looks really sturdy and it is obvious how durable it can be. Bonnet roofs are commonly seen on most modern houses. Water would run off easily on its slopes and it also is durable. But, since it has a complicated design then there may be a huge need of more materials.

Last are curved roof which are somehow the same with skillion. This only comes with a curve instead of straight slope. This is beautiful and unique but because there could be a bit of complexity, the cost is higher too.
