There Is Much You Can Learn About Gun Laws Before Owning One

By Marie Smith

The last thing that passengers expected at Los Angeles airport last week was a gunman randomly shooting up the place. But where can safety be found when not even little children are safe in their classrooms at school or an audience in a movie theater? Where is sanity when politicians refuse to allow gun laws to stop the horrendous violence? Where is common sense when a large portion of the population thinks it is better to allow gun ownership for everyone than to call a halt to the incredible situation that now exists?

Let's now look at some statistical figures. There are an estimated 70 million handguns privately owned handguns in the United States that are used for self-defense, hunting, sharpshooting, and other legitimate purposes. Since Washington enacted a ban on handguns, homicide rates rose to 200%. Switzerland, where at least one in every three of its less than eight million inhabitants owns a gun, has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

First off, the majority of a prepper's activities don't even involve guns. That is because prepping is primarily about supplying yourself and your family with the items you need to survive a catastrophe for an extended period of time without expecting any help from the government.

You see, in my view if one is so utterly uninformed to believe that the government is going to take care of them, then they will most likely be so utterly dismayed when that government fails to provide, that they will most likely take to the streets in mass mobs.

Recent mass shootings have understandingly stirred up emotions in people. Hopefully, they bothered you too. However, even as gun ownership reforms are being introduced, the very people pushing for new regulations are already admitting that the rules would not have stopped any of the shootings. It is unfortunate that dead children are being as used as human shields in order to push forward political agendas.

Government Buildings - it is illegal to carry around a stun gun in federal and state locations like courthouses and police stations, or any secure location where passing through a checkpoint is required. These must be surrendered to security and claimed afterward when exiting the premises.

If you collect money from the government which provides you with subsistence, then you shouldn't be able to own a gun. After all you believe the government will take care of you, so you believe you don't need one. You believe the government will protect you and act as your parents into adulthood.

So you have been contemplating getting an immobilizer for a little while now. You've perceived a group of cool motion pictures on YouTube and you may even have a companion with one. You suppose they look cool and might be awesome to keep yourself safe. You made the decision to find one for yourself yet you don't have an inkling depending on if they are handgun legitimate where you exist.

So, if the new firearm regulations cause you to take action and make a firearms purchase and get some extra ammunition more quickly, then that will be good for you. However, don't let it all distract you from job one: getting food and other supplies readied.
